About the role
This is a 100% remote role for a data analyst based in New York State. You will help retail clients understand their sales, inventory and customers, and build the reports and dashboards their teams rely on.
What you'll do
- Extract, clean and model data from retail systems such as Oracle Retail, POS and e-commerce
- Build dashboards and reports in Power BI or Tableau
- Analyze sales, margin, inventory and promotion performance and present findings
- Define KPIs with business stakeholders and automate recurring reporting
- Ensure data quality and document data sources and definitions
What you'll bring
- 3+ years as a data or business analyst
- Strong SQL; experience with Python or R for analysis
- Advanced Power BI or Tableau skills
- Retail or consumer-goods data experience preferred
- Must live in New York State; occasional travel for client workshops may be requested
