About the role
Join our Seattle team to build and maintain the payment services that let retailers take cards and wallets in stores and online. Security, reliability and compliance are at the heart of this role.
What you'll do
- Develop payment gateway integrations and services with Java and Spring Boot
- Integrate processors and gateways (e.g. Adyen, Stripe, Worldpay, Fiserv) with POS and e-commerce systems
- Implement tokenization, refunds, settlement and reconciliation flows
- Keep solutions PCI DSS compliant; handle encryption and key management
- Monitor production, troubleshoot failures and improve resilience
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of Java/Spring Boot development, with 3+ years on payment systems
- Experience with card-present and card-not-present payments, EMV and gateway APIs
- Solid understanding of PCI DSS, security best practices and REST APIs
- Experience with SQL databases, messaging and cloud deployment
- Retail POS (e.g. Xstore) payment experience is a strong plus; able to work on-site in Seattle on hybrid days
