About the role
We are hiring an experienced QA engineer to test retail point-of-sale solutions, including Oracle Xstore, in our Hyderabad test lab. You will make sure every sale, return and tender works flawlessly before it reaches stores.
What you'll do
- Write and execute test plans and cases for POS transactions: sales, returns, exchanges, discounts, tenders and end-of-day
- Test payment flows, receipt printing, scanners and other peripherals
- Verify integrations between POS and merchandising, CRM and order management systems
- Log, track and retest defects; contribute to regression and automation suites
- Support UAT and store pilot rollouts
What you'll bring
- 4+ years of software testing, with at least 2 years on retail POS systems (Xstore experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of retail store operations and payment processes
- Experience with test management and defect tools (e.g. Jira, Zephyr, ALM)
- Exposure to test automation (Selenium, Playwright or similar) and SQL for data validation
- Attention to detail and clear written communication
