About the role
Join our Hyderabad delivery center to design and build the services behind modern retail systems: store, POS, inventory and commerce integrations. You will lead technical design for your workstream and set the standard for code quality on the team.
What you'll do
- Design and build microservices with Java 17+, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
- Define REST and event-driven APIs (Kafka or similar) and integration patterns with ERP and POS systems
- Containerize and deploy services with Docker and Kubernetes on cloud platforms; set up CI/CD pipelines
- Apply security, observability and performance best practices; lead code reviews
- Mentor junior developers and work with US-based architects and clients
What you'll bring
- 7+ years of Java development, 4+ years with Spring Boot microservices in production
- Strong knowledge of REST, messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ), SQL and NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and a major cloud (OCI, AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experience with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, integration tests)
- Retail or payments domain experience is a plus
