About the role
Retail Sols is hiring a senior Oracle Xstore developer to join our St. Louis team on a hybrid schedule. You will own the technical design and delivery of Xstore extensions for retailers running hundreds of stores, from requirements through rollout and support.
You will work alongside our functional consultants and client store-operations teams, and help shape how we build and test Xstore solutions across projects.
What you'll do
- Design and develop Xstore customizations in Java using the Xstore framework, operation chains and configuration patterns
- Build and maintain integrations between Xstore, Xcenter/Xadmin, Xoffice and merchandising, CRM and order management systems
- Integrate payment terminals and gateways, receipts and peripherals; troubleshoot store-level issues
- Package, deploy and upgrade Xstore using Xenvironment and DTX/data loading tools
- Review code, mentor developers and keep technical documentation current
What you'll bring
- 6+ years of Java development, including 4+ years on Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service
- Hands-on experience with Xstore configuration, operation chains, Xadmin/Xcenter and Xstore upgrades
- Strong SQL skills (Oracle or SQL Server) and experience with REST/SOAP integrations
- Experience with payment integrations and in-store hardware is a strong plus
- Able to work on-site in St. Louis on hybrid days
